Common questions
Are these hook dots compatible with standard loop tape dispensers?
Yes. These VELCRO Brand hook dots are designed for use with matching nylon loop dots and tape. Verify loop product compatibility before deployment to ensure proper adhesion performance and sealing reliability on your specific case materials.
How many reattachment cycles can these dots withstand?
VELCRO Brand hook dots typically maintain usable adhesion for 50+ cycles under normal packing line conditions. Performance varies based on surface texture, environmental humidity, and storage temperature. Test in your environment before full-line deployment.
Will these dots damage corrugated cardboard or product surfaces?
No. The pressure-sensitive adhesive bonds securely without requiring heat or solvents, and removal typically leaves no residue on standard case materials. Always test on your specific substrate to confirm compatibility with coatings or specialty finishes.
What's the minimum order quantity and how do I manage inventory?
VEL143 ships as a case of 900 dots. For high-volume lines, 900 dots typically sustains 300-400 cases depending on application (single dot vs. multi-dot closure). Track consumption rates and order in advance to prevent line stoppages due to stock-outs.
