Common questions
Are these loop dots compatible with standard packing line dispensers?
Yes. The 7/8" diameter is engineered for compatibility with most industrial tape dispensers. Always verify your dispenser specifications before ordering to ensure proper core diameter fit and feeding mechanism alignment.
Can I use these loop dots without hook dots?
These are loop dots only. They require VELCRO Brand hook dots to create a complete fastening system. Both components are sold separately to allow flexible purchasing based on your application ratio needs.
How many reattachment cycles can these dots withstand?
VELCRO Brand loop dots typically sustain 500+ attach-detach cycles before adhesion degrades. Actual performance depends on surface material, temperature, humidity, and application pressure, test in your specific packing line conditions.
What surfaces do these dots adhere to best?
Loop dots perform optimally on clean, dry, low-porosity surfaces like cardboard, plastic, and laminates common in case sealing. Porous or dusty surfaces reduce adhesion, clean and dry packaging surfaces before application for maximum bond strength.
