Common questions
Are these loop dots compatible with hook dots from other suppliers?
VELCRO Brand loop dots are engineered to pair exclusively with VELCRO Brand hook components for optimal adhesion strength and reusability. Using non-brand hook alternatives may result in reduced holding power and premature separation during case handling.
How many reusable attachment cycles can these dots withstand?
VELCRO Brand dots typically support 100+ attach-reattach cycles when paired with compatible hook dots, making them ideal for returnable packaging systems and multi-use applications on packing lines.
Will these dots maintain adhesion during high-speed automated case sealing?
Yes. The pressure-sensitive adhesive is designed for packing line environments and maintains strong initial adhesion under mechanical stress. For conveyor speeds exceeding 150 cases/minute, allow 30 seconds of contact pressure after application.
Can loop dots be applied to curved or textured surfaces?
Loop dots adhere best to smooth, clean surfaces. Textured corrugated box faces may reduce contact area and adhesion strength. Pre-treat textured zones with Packrift adhesion primer for maximum holding performance on sealing lines.
