Common questions
How many times can these VELCRO straps be reused?
VELCRO Brand Self-Grip Straps can be reused hundreds of times without loss of holding power, making them significantly more cost-effective than single-use cable ties over a 12-month operating cycle. The hook side may require occasional cleaning of lint to maintain optimal grip strength.
Are these straps compliant with shipping and OSHA regulations?
Yes. These nylon-based straps meet industrial standards for cable bundling and equipment securing. They contain no restricted substances and are suitable for use in regulated shipping environments, including international logistics.
What is the maximum load capacity per strap?
The 3/4" width provides secure bundling for light to medium-weight cord applications (up to 5-10 lbs per strap depending on bundle diameter). For heavier industrial applications, multiple straps or wider widths are recommended.
How does the 75-foot length compare to standard packaging?
A 75-foot roll yields approximately 75-100 individual straps (cut to preferred lengths), reducing per-unit cost compared to pre-cut options and minimizing waste in high-volume bundling operations.
