Common questions
Will this VHB tape work with our case sealing dispenser equipment?
Yes. The 1" width and 5-yard length are standard dispenser-compatible dimensions. The 45-mil thickness feeds smoothly through most industrial tape dispensers. Confirm your dispenser's maximum core diameter (typically 3" standard cores) before ordering.
How does VHB™ 4611 perform compared to traditional box tape on metal substrates?
Unlike duct or masking tape, VHB™ 4611 creates a permanent, non-removable bond on metal through its acrylic adhesive formulation. It eliminates fasteners, reduces vibration damage, and maintains integrity through paint processing and extreme temperature cycles, critical advantages for pre-paint metal bonding operations.
Is this tape suitable for outdoor or high-temperature case sealing?
Absolutely. The -31°F to 300°F temperature range and UV/moisture/solvent resistance make it ideal for cases exposed to temperature swings, humidity, and chemical environments. It won't degrade in outdoor storage or heated production areas.
How much case sealing capacity does one 5-yard roll provide?
One 5-yard roll covers approximately 15 standard case seals (assuming 4" per seal) or provides extended running capacity on high-volume packing lines. For production volume planning, calculate your actual seal length and order multiples to maintain continuous line operation.
