Pallet covers by the case: gusseted poly covers in clear 1 to 4 mil and black 2 and 3 mil, insulated foil covers and flat top sheets on a roll. The poly covers also line gaylords and bins. How to size a pallet cover
Cover sizes read width by gusset depth by length, in inches. Width and depth wrap the footprint, so pick a width and depth that match the loaded pallet or run a little over it. A cover then reaches a load height equal to its length minus half its depth.

Thickness and color
Mil is film thickness, and 1 mil is 0.001 in. Clear covers come in 1, 2, 3 and 4 mil and let crews see the load. The listings call the 4 mil covers extra strong, with strength to protect from tears and punctures. Black covers come in 2 and 3 mil, and the listings say they are opaque, conceal the load to prevent pilferage and suit outside storage.
Insulated covers
The 48 x 40 x 48 and 48 x 40 x 60 in insulated covers have an aluminum foil exterior with a 3/16 in bubble lining. The listings say to use them for food and other products sensitive to changes in temperature, covering the top and sides of the pallet and then securing the cover with stretch film.
Covers, top sheets and liners
- Full covers are gusseted bags that drop over the top and sides of the load. They come pre-cut and perforated on a roll.
- Top sheets are flat sheets that cover only the top. They run 36 x 36 to 72 x 72 in and 1.25 to 3 mil, with 150 to 500 sheets on one roll per case. The dispenser kit has 2 mounting brackets and a roll of 75 sheets, 60 x 60 in, and refill rolls come 1 or 4 to a case.
- Gaylord and bin liners: the listings say to line large cartons with these bags to protect products from moisture. Size a liner from the inside of the box: width and depth to the opening, and a length of at least the box height plus half the depth.
Buying pallet covers by the case
Every price in the tables is for one case. Price per cover or per sheet is the case price divided by the count in the case.
Volume pricing applies at checkout: 3% off orders of 3 or more items and 5% off orders of 6 or more. One size gets a higher rate, and the cart shows it. Orders of one or two items with a product subtotal of $500 or more ship free when the checkout freight rate is $45 or less, or $90 or less on orders of $1,000 or more. Orders of three or more items get the volume discount instead of free shipping.

Pallet cover questions
What size pallet cover do I need for a 48 x 40 pallet?
A cover 48 in wide and 42 to 46 in deep, with a length equal to the load height plus half the depth. A load about 27 in high takes a 48 x 42 x 48 in cover, and a load about 49 in high takes 48 x 46 x 72 in.
What is the difference between a pallet cover and a top sheet?
A pallet cover is a gusseted bag that drops over the top and sides of the load. A top sheet is a flat sheet that covers only the top. The 60 x 60 in top sheets come 75, 150 or 250 to a roll.
Can pallet covers be used as gaylord liners?
Yes. The listings say to line large cartons with these bags. Measure the inside of the gaylord and size the liner like a cover, with the box height in place of the load height.
Should I use clear or black pallet covers?
Use clear when crews need to see the load. Use black to hide the load, since the listings describe black covers as opaque and suited to outside storage. Black covers come in 2 and 3 mil, 50 to a case.
How many pallet covers come in a case?
Clear covers pack 100 or 150 to a case at 1 mil, 50 to 100 at 2 mil, 50 at 3 mil and 25 at 4 mil. Black covers pack 50 and insulated covers 5.
