Quick rule

Small labels work for IDs and color coding. Mid-size labels work for cartons and bins. Full-sheet labels work for signs, large instructions, or template-heavy workflows.

Material rule

Paper is fine for dry indoor labeling. Polyester is safer for moisture, condensation, repeated handling, or warehouse surfaces that get scuffed.

Printer rule

Laser labels are sheet-style or laser-printer formatted labels. They are not a substitute for direct thermal rolls.
