Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean and why does it matter for my operation?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) rating of 32 indicates the box can withstand 32 pounds of pressure per linear inch of edge. This is the industry standard for general shipping and provides reliable protection for mid-weight products while keeping costs competitive compared to heavier ECT ratings.
How many boxes can I stack safely, and what's the maximum weight per box?
ECT-32 boxes support stacking heights of 6-8 boxes deep depending on product weight inside. Maximum recommended contents are 25-35 lbs per box; for heavier items, consider higher ECT ratings or reinforced bottoms to optimize pallet stability and reduce damage.
Will these boxes work for my pallet configuration and freight optimization?
Yes. The 12x12x14 dimensions are engineered for efficient pallet stacking and fit standard 48x40" pallets with strong compatibility to retail and warehouse logistics systems, reducing wasted space and freight costs per unit shipped.
Are kraft corrugated boxes suitable for food and beverage products?
Kraft corrugated is food-safe for non-hazardous, non-perishable items. For temperature-sensitive or liquid products, verify compliance with your specific contents and consider food-grade liners or upgraded specifications as needed.
