Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean and why does it matter?
ECT (Edgewise Crush Test) rating of 32 means each box can handle 32 pounds of pressure per linear inch. This single-wall construction provides cost-effective protection for lightweight to mid-weight items while maintaining durability during stacking and transit.
How does the long-side opening improve packing efficiency?
The lengthwise opening runs the full 12" dimension, allowing items to be inserted end-first without forcing them through narrow top openings. This reduces packing time by 30-40% compared to traditional top-opening boxes and cuts product damage from insertion friction.
Can these boxes be stacked safely in a warehouse?
Yes. ECT-32 kraft corrugated supports reliable stacking up to 4-5 boxes high when loaded to typical capacity (5-8 lbs per box). Stack height depends on item weight, storage duration, and humidity conditions; always verify final load configuration with your operations team.
Are these boxes eco-friendly?
Absolutely. Made from 100% recyclable kraft corrugated, these boxes meet most commercial recycling programs. The single-wall construction also reduces material weight, lowering freight emissions and costs compared to double-wall alternatives for lighter shipments.
