Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean and how does it perform in my operation?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) of 32 pounds per inch means each box withstands 32 lbs of force before edge collapse. This single-wall construction supports stacking heights of 3 - 5 boxes in normal warehouse conditions, making it ideal for standard shipping volumes without the cost premium of heavier gauges like ECT-44 or ECT-48.
How many boxes fit in a standard pallet, and what's the freight advantage?
Approximately 60 - 70 bundles (1,500 - 1,750 boxes) fit per 4840" pallet with optimal stacking. The light weight and cubic efficiency of 12912" dimensions reduce LTL freight surcharges and lower overall cost per unit shipped compared to oversized alternatives.
Can I print my company logo or barcode on these boxes?
Yes. Kraft corrugated accepts flexographic and digital printing in standard and custom designs. Contact our team for minimum run quantities and pricing on branded fulfillment boxes.
What products should NOT ship in ECT-32 boxes?
ECT-32 is not recommended for heavy items (>20 lbs), hazardous materials requiring reinforced packaging, or multi-stack environments exceeding 5 boxes high. For heavier or high-impact applications, upgrade to ECT-44 or double-wall alternatives.
