Common questions
What is ECT-32 and why does it matter for my shipping operation?
ECT-32 (Edge Crush Test) measures corrugated board strength, 32 lbs of force required to crush the edge. This rating matches standard kraft cartons, ensuring reliable stacking performance during warehouse operations and freight handling while reducing product damage claims.
How does the white finish improve shipping efficiency?
Applied labels, barcodes, and special handling instructions display with maximum contrast against the crisp white background, reducing scanning errors and expediting fulfillment workflows. This improves logistics accuracy and reduces processing time per shipment.
What tape should I use to seal these boxes?
Use clear carton sealing tape for transparent closure or white paper tape to maintain the clean white aesthetic. Both preserve the professional appearance required for branded shipments and ensure tamper-evidence.
Are these boxes suitable for heavy products?
ECT-32 single-wall construction provides reliable protection for mid-weight items up to approximately 35-40 lbs depending on box fill distribution. For heavier loads exceeding 40 lbs, consider double-wall ECT-44 alternatives or multiple boxes per shipment.
