Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean, and is it strong enough for my shipments?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) measures corrugated strength. ECT-32 provides 32 lbs per inch of edge crush resistance, suitable for standard parcels, e-commerce orders, and multi-layer stacking in warehouses. It's the industry standard for mid-weight products; heavier items may require ECT-44 or higher.
How many boxes fit on a standard pallet, and what's the stacking limit?
Approximately 120-150 bundles (3,000-3,750 boxes) fit per pallet depending on pallet type and configuration. ECT-32 kraft supports stacking heights of 4-5 boxes deep in normal warehouse conditions without compression failure.
Are these boxes recyclable, and do they qualify for sustainable packaging claims?
Yes, 100% recyclable kraft corrugated meets EPA sustainability standards and most corporate green packaging initiatives. Kraft material is compostable and diverts from landfills when properly recycled, supporting your ESG commitments.
How do I calculate the right box size for my products, and what's the volume savings at scale?
Use box interior dimensions (12 x 9 x 8") for product fit; add 1-2" for cushioning material. Bulk ordering in bundles of 25+ reduces per-unit cost by 15-25% versus retail, with freight savings of 20-30% through optimized pallet loading and reduced dimensional weight.
