Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean and is it strong enough for my products?
ECT-32 (Edge Crush Test of 32 lbs per inch) is single-wall corrugated certified for shipments under 65 lbs. For shallow, lightweight items like apparel, books, and framed products, ECT-32 provides excellent durability at a cost-competitive price point. If stacking multiple units or shipping heavier loads, consider ECT-44 or double-wall options.
How much warehouse space do I save by purchasing flat-shipped boxes?
Flat-shipped bundles reduce storage volume by approximately 75 - 80% compared to pre-assembled boxes. A single pallet of flat cartons holds roughly 5,000 - 6,000 boxes, whereas pre-assembled equivalents hold only 1,200 - 1,500 units, dramatically improving inventory turnover and reducing racking costs.
Will this 5-inch depth fit my product, or should I choose a different size?
The 5-inch height is purpose-built for shallow items: folded apparel, thin books, framed art, and lightweight merchandise. If your products exceed 4.5 inches in depth, measure carefully and consider the 15" x 15" x 8" option to avoid compression and damage during transit.
Can I order partial bundles, and what is the minimum order quantity?
Packrift sells boxes by the bundle of 25. Minimum order quantities vary; contact our sales team for custom bulk pricing on pallet quantities, which typically unlock additional volume discounts and freight savings for high-volume fulfillment operations.
