Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean and why does it matter?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) rating of 32 pounds per linear inch indicates the box's stacking strength and durability. ECT-32 is the industry standard for single-wall boxes handling typical B2B shipping loads, making it cost-effective for warehouse operations while preventing product damage during transport and storage.
How many of these boxes fit on a pallet?
A standard 40 x 48" pallet accommodates approximately 100-120 bundles (2,500-3,000 individual boxes) depending on stacking height and warehouse pallet jack compatibility. Contact our logistics team for specific pallet configuration and freight estimates for your volume.
Can I use these boxes for heavy products?
ECT-32 single-wall construction supports standard warehouse items but is not rated for heavy industrial goods. For products exceeding 40 lbs or requiring premium protection, consider ECT-44 double-wall alternatives or consult our packaging specialists for custom solutions.
Are these boxes compostable or curbside recyclable?
Yes, kraft corrugated boxes are accepted in standard curbside recycling programs and commercial composting facilities. Using recyclable packaging reduces waste disposal costs and supports sustainability goals while meeting customer expectations for eco-conscious fulfillment.
