Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean and how does it compare to other ratings?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) -32 indicates the pad can withstand 32 lbs of pressure per inch of edge. ECT-32 single-wall corrugated is suitable for mid-range pallet loads and provides excellent cost-to-performance value for most standard warehouse applications. Heavier loads may require ECT-44 or double-wall alternatives.
Will these 24 x 36" pads work with my standard pallets?
Yes. The 24 x 36" dimensions are designed to fit standard 40 x 48" pallets efficiently, allowing 2-3 pads per layer depending on your product arrangement. This sizing maximizes coverage while minimizing waste and freight cost per pad.
How do layer pads improve freight efficiency and reduce damage claims?
Layer pads distribute weight evenly across stacked products, preventing compression and shifting during transit. They create a friction barrier that stabilizes loads, reduce strapping damage, and protect from forklift punctures, lowering damage claims and enabling denser, more secure pallet configurations.
Can I order partial bundles or do I need to buy in quantities of 5?
These pads are sold in bundles of 5. For high-volume operations, purchasing multiple bundles offers better per-unit pricing. Contact our sales team if you have custom volume requirements or need pads in different ECT ratings.
