Common questions
What does ECT-44 mean and why does it matter?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 44 indicates the box can withstand 44 lbs of edge pressure, making it suitable for stacking multiple units and protecting heavy flat-panel TVs. This rating ensures your boxes maintain integrity through multi-tier palletization and transit handling.
Can these boxes be side-loaded on my conveyor system?
Yes, the 28 x 6 x 20" dimensions and lightweight single-wall construction are optimized for side-loading operations. The full overlap flaps prevent box collapse or shifting when loaded horizontally, maintaining protection and pallet stability.
How many of these boxes fit on a standard pallet?
Approximately 200-250 units per pallet when stacked efficiently, depending on your configuration. The 6" width is specifically designed to maximize pallet density while reducing freight costs per unit shipped.
Are the fragile warnings on all sides?
Fragile messaging and directional arrows are pre-printed on two sides (typically front and back). This ensures proper handling visibility regardless of box orientation during sorting, reducing damage and handling errors.
