About this item
SKU T914891912PK — 60 yds. × 60 yds., 7.0 Mil, Clear. Sold as a case of 12, shipped from US warehouses.
Heavy-duty 3M 8919 strapping tape delivers holding power for demanding packing lines. 7 mil clear polyester with synthetic rubber adhesive provides high adhesion, low stretch, and excellent moisture/abrasion resistance. Case of 12 rolls, 60 yards each, 3/4 " width.
Common questions
Will this tape work with standard tape dispensers on our existing packing line?
Yes. The 3/4" width and 7.0 mil thickness are compatible with most industrial tape dispensers. Verify your dispenser's core ID (typically 3" standard) and width capacity before ordering to ensure use.
How does the synthetic rubber adhesive perform on different carton finishes?
The 3M™ 8919 provides excellent high adhesion on waxed, unwaxed, and kraft corrugated finishes while resisting staining and discoloration. Its stain-resistant formula makes it ideal for light-colored or sensitive appliance packaging.
What makes low-stretch tape critical for heavy appliance bundling?
Low-stretch polyester maintains consistent tension without creeping, preventing bundle separation during transport and handling. This reduces damage claims and repacking costs, especially important for high-value appliance components.
Can we expect consistent performance across all 12 rolls in a case?
3M manufacturing standards ensure uniform adhesion, thickness, and stretch properties across every roll. This consistency minimizes line adjustments and reduces variability in case seal quality.
