About this item
SKU SP4242 — 42" × 42", ECT-32 Single Wall Corrugated, Kraft. Sold as a bundle of 5, shipped from US warehouses.
ECT-32 kraft corrugated layer pads in 42x42 " size protect your products during shipment and storage while preventing forklift and strapping damage. Sold in bundles of 5 sheets, these slip sheets disperse pallet weight and keep product tops dust-free throughout the supply chain.
Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean, and will it support my pallet stack?
ECT-32 indicates an edge crush test rating of 32 lbs per linear inch, sufficient for stacking 2-3 pallets high in typical warehouse conditions. For heavier loads or higher stacks, consult our ECT-40 or ECT-44 options. Your actual load capacity depends on pallet weight, stacking height, and storage duration.
How many sheets do I need per pallet, and what's the cost per unit?
A single 42" x 42" sheet covers one pallet layer. For multi-tier operations, order one sheet per tier per pallet. Bundles of 5 reduce per-sheet cost versus individual purchases, calculate your monthly usage and request a volume quote for annual savings.
Can these replace plastic slip sheets, and are they recyclable?
Yes. Kraft corrugated pads are fully recyclable and often preferred by eco-conscious supply chain partners. They eliminate plastic waste while performing identically to plastic slip sheets for most applications. Confirm with your recycling vendor that your facility accepts kraft corrugated.
Will these protect products from moisture and dust during storage?
Kraft corrugated provides dust barrier protection and some moisture resistance during short-term storage. For extended outdoor storage or high-humidity environments, consider adding a moisture barrier or upgrading to coated corrugated options. Single-wall construction is not waterproof.
