Common questions
What is ECT-32 and why does it matter for my shipping operation?
ECT-32 (Edge Crush Test) single-wall corrugated provides 32 lbs per inch of edge strength, ideal for mid-weight products and reliable stacking up to 5-6 boxes high on pallets. This rating balances protection, cost, and weight efficiency for most industrial B2B shipments.
How does the 6 x 6 x 18" dimension reduce my freight costs?
Tall, narrow boxes minimize dimensional weight surcharges by LTL and parcel carriers. You ship more cubic volume per box while keeping the base footprint compact, maximizing pallet density and reducing cost-per-unit shipped.
Can I stack these boxes securely on a pallet?
Yes. ECT-32 kraft corrugated supports multiple layers when properly loaded and banded. Stack 5-6 boxes high per pallet safely, depending on product weight inside. Single-wall construction keeps total box weight minimal, preserving your payload capacity.
Are these boxes a replacement for mailing tubes?
Yes. The 6 x 6 x 18" box replaces mailing tubes for fishing rods, shelving, and similar tall items while offering better stacking, easier labeling, easier sealing, and lower per-unit cost at scale.
