Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean, and why does it matter for my shipments?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32 indicates the box can withstand 32 lbs of vertical pressure per linear inch before crushing. This rating ensures reliable protection during multi-level stacking in warehouses and during transit, reducing damage claims and returns.
Can these boxes handle repeated stacking on pallets?
Yes. ECT-32 single-wall corrugated is engineered for standard warehouse stacking scenarios. For maximum compression strength, calculate your stacking height based on box weight and contents to ensure compliance with crush strength limits.
How does the 6x6x20" dimension reduce my shipping costs?
The tall profile maximizes dimensional weight efficiency by minimizing base footprint while using vertical space effectively. This reduces dimensional weight charges on LTL and parcel shipments, and improves pallet utilization, lowering freight cost per unit.
Is this box suitable as a mailing tube replacement?
Yes. The rigid ECT-32 construction provides protection comparable to traditional mailing tubes for rolled materials, posters, blueprints, and textiles, while offering better stacking and labeling capabilities for e-commerce fulfillment.
