Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean and why does it matter for my shipping operation?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32 indicates the corrugated material can withstand 32 pounds of pressure per linear inch when crushed edgewise. This rating ensures reliable stacking stability on pallets, protects contents during multi-tier loading, and reduces damage claims in freight environments typical of B2B distribution.
Can I stack these boxes multiple levels high on a pallet?
Yes. ECT-32 single-wall corrugated is engineered for standard multi-tier pallet stacking in warehouse and freight environments. Stack height depends on total product weight and pallet configuration; consult Packrift's load calculator or contact sales for specific weight limits on your shipments.
Why is end-loading better than top-sealing for my fulfillment team?
End-loading eliminates the need for tape or adhesive sealing at the top, reducing labor time per box by 15-20 seconds. This simplifies packing lines, improves throughput on high-volume orders, and minimizes material waste while providing the same secure closure.
Is this a suitable replacement for mailing tubes?
Yes. The 6 x 6 x 32" box provides comparable protection for rolled documents, posters, blueprints, and other tube-shipped items while offering better stackability, lower per-unit cost at scale, and improved labeling surface area for compliance and tracking.
