Common questions
What does ECT-32-B mean and how does it compare to other corrugated ratings?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32-B indicates the corrugated can withstand 32 lbs of crushing force per linear inch of edge. This mid-range rating is ideal for small parcels and light-to-medium weight items. Higher ECT (42-B, 44-B) suits heavier freight; lower ECT (20-B) works for minimal-protection applications.
How much warehouse space do these mailers save compared to pre-assembled boxes?
Flat-stored kraft mailers consume up to 40% less cubic footage than pre-assembled boxes of equivalent size. For operations managing 10,000+ units monthly, this translates to reclaiming valuable warehouse real estate and reducing facility overhead costs.
Can these mailers stack safely in transit without damage?
Yes. The ECT-32-B double-wall construction and fold-and-tuck design create crush-resistant stacking performance. These mailers maintain structural integrity under standard pallet loads and multi-tier stacking in trucks and freight containers.
What's the freight efficiency benefit of this 6x6x4 size?
The compact 6x6x4" footprint reduces dimensional weight charges on most carrier networks while accommodating 85% of small e-commerce parcels. This size optimizes pallet utilization and carrier fees, delivering 8-12% lower shipping costs per unit versus oversized boxes.
