Common questions
How does the telescoping two-piece design work?
The T6672INNER inner box slides inside the T6672OUTER outer box to create an adjustable carton system. This allows you to compress taller shipments into a smaller footprint or accommodate items up to 72" in height, reducing box SKU counts and freight costs across variable product heights.
What is ECT-32 and why does it matter for tall boxes?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32 measures the corrugated's vertical stacking strength at 32 lbs/linear inch. For 72" tall cartons, ECT-32 ensures adequate burst and crush resistance during multi-level warehouse stacking and transit, preventing top-to-bottom collapse.
Do I need to purchase inner and outer boxes separately?
Yes. The T6672INNER and T6672OUTER are sold as separate SKUs to allow flexible ordering. You must combine both boxes to create a functioning telescoping set. One inner + one outer = one complete carton system.
What volume savings can we expect with telescoping boxes?
Telescoping boxes eliminate multiple box size purchases by accommodating variable heights in a single adjustable system. This reduces inventory holding costs, freight volume waste, and labor associated with selecting the 'right size' box, a critical efficiency gain for high-throughput fulfillment operations.
