Telescoping Boxes

Telescoping boxes are two-piece corrugated cartons: an inner box and a slightly larger outer box that slides over it, so one set packs items of different lengths. We stock inner and outer sets from 4 x 4 x 48 to 12 x 12 x 72 in ECT-32 kraft, plus ECT-48 double wall and ECT-44 heavy duty sets, sold flat in bundles. Inner and outer are separate listings, so order both.

Price per box is the bundle price divided by the bundle count. Inner boxes are listed at inside dimensions; the matching outer is half an inch larger in length and width.

The 72 inch sets are ECT-32 single wall. The 6 x 6 x 48, 8 x 8 x 48 and 24 x 8 x 57 sets are ECT-48 double wall, and the 48 x 6 x 38 set is ECT-44 heavy duty.

How the two pieces work

Set the item in the inner box, slide the outer over it to the length you need and tape the seam. The set covers any length from the inner box's length up to almost twice that. Use them for rods, trim, tubes, banners, rolled materials and linear parts, and for long items whose length changes between orders. Both halves come flat in the same bundle count.

Buying in bulk

For 10 or more bundles, a pallet quantity, or a repeat order, request a bulk quote with the inner and outer SKUs, the number of sets and your delivery ZIP. Pallet quantities ship by freight and the quote covers the boxes and the delivery in one price.

Common questions

Do I need both pieces?

Yes, for an adjustable box. Inner and outer are separate bundles with the same count; order one bundle of each.

Which size do I order?

Pick the inner box by the width and depth of the item, then the length. The outer slides over it, so the set fits anything from the inner length up to nearly double.

How many come in a bundle?

25 for the 4 x 4 and 6 x 6 sizes, 20 for 8 x 8 and 10 x 10, 15 for the 12 inch and 72 inch sets, 10 for the wide sets, and 5 for the 24 x 8 x 57 double wall set.
