About this item
SKU T24857OUTDW — 24" × 8" × 57", ECT-48 Double Wall Corrugated, Kraft. Sold as a bundle of 5, shipped from US warehouses.
ECT-48 kraft telescoping outer cartons designed for tall and irregularly shaped items with maximum crush resistance. Adjustable two-piece construction expands to accommodate variable heights while maintaining full overlap (FOL) bottom strength. Sold as bundle of 5, pair with T24857INDW inner carton for complete telescoping box set.
Common questions
Do I need both inner and outer boxes to use this product?
Yes. The T24857OUTDW outer box must be paired with the T24857INDW inner carton to create a complete telescoping box set. Both are sold separately to allow flexible ordering based on your volume needs.
What does ECT-48 mean and why does it matter for my operation?
ECT (Edgewise Crush Test) -48 indicates the corrugated can withstand 48 lbs of force per linear inch. This double wall rating maximizes stacking performance in warehouses, reduces damage claims, and improves freight efficiency by allowing taller stack heights without crushing.
How does the telescoping design reduce packaging costs?
Instead of maintaining separate box sizes for different item heights, you adjust one box to fit your product, eliminating the need for multiple SKUs. This reduces inventory complexity, storage footprint, and per-unit packaging costs on high-volume shipments.
Is this box suitable for stacking during transit and storage?
Yes. The ECT-48 double wall construction combined with the full overlap bottom design provides crush resistance, making it ideal for multi-tier stacking in trucks, warehouses, and distribution centers.
