Common questions
What is ECT-32 and how does it compare to kraft corrugated?
ECT-32 (Edge Crush Test 32 pounds per linear inch) is a single-wall corrugated grade that provides the same crushing strength and stacking performance as standard kraft cartons. The white coating on these boxes offers better label adhesion and print clarity without sacrificing structural performance, making them ideal for branded fulfillment.
How many boxes can I stack before they collapse?
ECT-32 single-wall construction supports 5-6 boxes stacked vertically when loaded, depending on the weight of contents. For warehouse stacking without contents, ECT-32 typically handles 8-10 boxes high before compression risk. Always test with your specific product weight and storage conditions.
What tape should I use to seal these white boxes?
Use clear carton sealing tape or white paper tape to maintain the clean aesthetic of these white boxes and ensure applied labels and shipping instructions remain visible. Clear tape is most popular for premium branding, while white tape provides a straightforward appearance that blends with the box exterior.
Can I print or apply custom labels directly to these boxes?
Yes. The bright white surface is optimized for label adhesion and inkjet or flexographic printing. Labels and shipping instructions stand out clearly against the crisp white background, improving carrier scanning accuracy and reducing shipping errors.
