Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean and is it suitable for my shipments?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32 indicates the box can withstand 32 pounds of force per linear inch before crushing. This single-wall rating handles typical small-parcel shipping, light industrial products, and e-commerce goods. For heavier or fragile items, consider ECT-44 alternatives.
How much weight can these 7x7x9 boxes safely hold?
ECT-32 single-wall boxes typically support 15-25 lbs per box depending on content density and stacking conditions. Actual limits depend on cube weight, moisture exposure, and how many boxes stack during transit. Test with your specific product for optimal results.
Will flat-shipping save money compared to buying pre-assembled boxes?
Yes. Flat boxes reduce storage footprint by approximately 50%, lower freight costs due to dimensional weight savings, and eliminate inventory management complexity. Most warehouse operations see 15-25% total cost reduction versus pre-assembled alternatives.
Can I customize or print branding on these kraft boxes?
Absolutely. Kraft corrugated material is ideal for flexographic and offset printing. Contact our custom printing team for volume quotes and design consultation; typical minimums apply for custom orders.
