Common questions
What does ECT-32-B mean, and how does it affect stacking performance?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32 pounds per inch indicates the corrugated can withstand 32 lbs of crushing force per linear inch. This specification supports multi-layer stacking in warehouses and during transit, ensuring your shipments arrive undamaged and protecting contents from compression in high-volume fulfillment centers.
How much postage savings can we expect versus standard cardboard boxes?
ECT-32-B kraft corrugated weighs significantly less than heavier corrugated grades, reducing dimensional weight charges on FedEx, UPS, and USPS. For high-volume shippers, switching to lightweight crush-resistant mailers typically yields 5-15% postage savings per shipment depending on carrier and service level.
Do these mailers require tape, glue, or assembly equipment?
No. These one-piece mailers fold and tuck closed in seconds with zero additional materials. This eliminates tape costs, reduces labor time in fulfillment operations, and removes equipment maintenance requirements, ideal for high-speed packing operations.
What items are best suited for 7 x 4 x 3" mailers?
This size optimizes shipping for small, lightweight products: hand tools, jewelry, cables, samples, documents, glassware, small electronics, and promotional items. The double-wall crush-resistant design protects fragile contents while the compact footprint minimizes wasted dimensional weight on carriers.
