Common questions
What is ECT-32 and why does it matter for my operation?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) measures corrugated strength. ECT-32 provides standard industrial durability for typical warehouse applications, adequate for stacking, handling, and shipping without over-engineering. This rating balances protection and cost, making it ideal for high-volume fulfillment operations.
Will 8x8x12 boxes work for my product dimensions?
The 8 x 8 x 12" box suits products up to 7" x 7" x 11" (accounting for padding). Calculate usable interior space and confirm with samples before bulk orders. Packrift offers sizing guides and bulk trial programs.
How many boxes fit on a pallet and what's my freight cost impact?
Approximately 120 - 140 boxes per pallet depending on assembly and stacking method. Flat shipping reduces freight by 60 - 70% versus assembled boxes. Contact sales for pallet optimization and freight calculator.
Are these boxes compatible with my existing sealing and labeling equipment?
Standard 8 x 8 x 12" corrugated boxes work with most industrial tape, label, and automated case erection systems. Confirm specifications with equipment manufacturers; Packrift technical support can assist with integration questions.
