Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean, and will these boxes stack safely?
ECT-32 (Edge Crush Test 32 lbs/inch) is the industry standard for single-wall corrugated. These boxes safely stack 4-5 high under normal warehouse conditions, supporting typical product weights up to 25-30 lbs per box. For heavier loads or higher stacking, consider ECT-44 or double-wall alternatives.
How many boxes do I need per shipment, and what's the cost per unit at volume?
This bundle contains 25 boxes. Most shippers order 4-8 bundles (100-200 boxes) per month depending on order velocity. Packrift offers tiered volume discounts, request a quote for your monthly usage to optimize per-unit cost.
Are these boxes suitable for heavy or fragile items?
ECT-32 single-wall works well for items under 25-30 lbs. For heavier products (30+ lbs) or delicate goods requiring extra cushioning, upgrade to ECT-44 double-wall or add internal protective packaging. Consult Packrift packaging specialists for custom recommendations.
Can I use these boxes for both shipping and storage?
Yes. The 8 x 8 x 5" kraft corrugated box is versatile for both transit shipping and warehouse shelving storage. The neutral kraft finish works across retail, industrial, and food-safe applications, and 100% recyclability supports sustainability commitments.
