Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean, and why does it matter for my warehouse?
ECT-32 (Edge Crush Test) indicates 32 pounds of force per inch needed to crush the board edge. This rating ensures reliable stacking performance in multi-tier warehouse racking and freight environments, protecting contents from compression damage during 3 - 5-high palletization.
Can I stack these boxes on a pallet without damage?
Yes. ECT-32 single-wall corrugated supports stacking 4 - 5 boxes high (full-weight loaded) on standard pallets. Exact stacking capacity depends on total loaded weight; consult your material handling engineer for your specific SKU weight.
How does this box compare to using mailing tubes?
8x8x50" corrugated boxes cost 30 - 40% less than equivalent mailing tubes, offer better stackability, and enable automated sealing. Use corrugated when tube aesthetic isn't required and freight efficiency is a cost driver.
How do I order and what's the lead time?
Order by SKU 8850 in bundles of 20. Flat packaging ships within 3 - 5 business days from stock. Custom quantities and bulk account pricing available; contact your Packrift account manager for volume discounts above 500 boxes.
