Common questions
What is ECT-32 and why does it matter for my operation?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) rating of 32 means the box resists 32 pounds of force per linear inch of edge. For typical warehouse stacking (3-5 units high), ECT-32 single-wall provides adequate strength while keeping costs 20-30% lower than ECT-44 double-wall alternatives. Ideal for non-fragile merchandise.
How does side-loading reduce labor costs?
Side-loading allows operators to fill boxes from the side opening, eliminating awkward top-loading angles and reducing pack time by 15-20% per unit. Combined with self-sealing closure, operators skip tape application entirely, accelerating throughput in high-volume facilities.
Can I stack these boxes during storage or shipping?
Yes. ECT-32 single-wall supports standard warehouse stacking (typically 3-5 boxes high when properly loaded). Load weight distribution matters, refer to our stacking charts or contact our B2B team for specific weight-load calculations for your products.
What's the environmental impact of these boxes?
100% recyclable corrugated construction. Flat-ship design also reduces transport emissions by 35-40% versus pre-assembled boxes, supporting corporate sustainability goals and reducing Scope 3 logistics footprint.
