Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean and how does it affect my shipping?
ECT-32 (Edge Crush Test) rating indicates the box can withstand 32 pounds per linear inch of crushing force. This standard-strength rating is suitable for most mid-weight products and balances protection costs with freight efficiency, critical for managing dimensional weight charges on parcel carriers.
How many boxes can I stack safely in a warehouse?
ECT-32 single-wall boxes support approximately 5-8 boxes high when properly loaded with weight-appropriate contents. For precise stacking calculations, factor in your product weight and warehouse conditions, we recommend consulting our technical team for applications exceeding 6-high stacking.
Is this box size cost-effective for high-volume shipping?
Yes. The 9 x 9 x 12" dimension minimizes dimensional weight surcharges on most parcel carriers while the 25-box bundle format reduces per-unit costs for bulk ordering. This size is optimized for small-to-medium products, making it ideal for warehouse managers seeking volume discounts.
Can I recycle or compost these boxes?
Absolutely. These kraft corrugated boxes are 100% recyclable and compostable, supporting sustainability goals. Most curbside recycling programs and industrial composting facilities accept kraft corrugated, check local regulations to ensure compliance with your waste management protocols.
