Common questions
What does #00 size mean, and what items fit in a 10" x 5" mailer?
#00 is the industry-standard designation for this compact mailer size. It accommodates items up to 5" x 10" flat, use for greeting cards, thin jewelry, USB drives, small phone cases, cosmetic samples, and lightweight documents. Not recommended for rigid items over 2" thick.
How does the 3/16" bubble lining compare to thicker cushioning for shock protection?
The 3/16" bubble provides adequate shock absorption for fragile lightweight items during standard shipping. For heavier or extremely delicate goods, consider upsizing to larger mailers or adding secondary cushioning. This size balances protection with minimal dimensional weight impact on UPS/FedEx shipping costs.
Is the self-adhesive closure really tamper-evident?
Yes. Once the peel-and-stick flap is sealed, any attempt to reopen leaves visible creasing and separation of the kraft paper, providing clear evidence of tampering. The tear strip allows recipients to open without damaging the mailer body.
Can I print a shipping label directly on the kraft exterior?
Absolutely. The kraft paper surface accepts thermal printer labels, marker, and adhesive label stickers without issues. The flat front provides ample space for 4" x 6" shipping labels and customer branding.
