Common questions
Is this box UN-certified for hazardous material shipping?
Yes. These boxes carry UN certification marks 4G/Y31.9/S (for oxidizing hazards) and 4G/Y36.6/S (for chemical hazards) and are printed with all mandatory warning labels. However, per CFR 49 178.601B, you as the shipper remain responsible for selecting the appropriate packaging for your specific product and ensuring proper closure. Always consult applicable regulations before use.
How much warehouse space do flat-packed cartons save versus pre-assembled boxes?
Flat-ship design reduces storage footprint by approximately 40% compared to pre-assembled hazmat boxes. A bundle of 10 flat cartons occupies minimal cubic footage, accelerating inventory turnover and reducing warehouse labor for box preparation.
What is the ECT rating and why does it matter?
ECT-48 (Edge Crush Test) double-wall corrugated provides 48 lb/in of crush resistance, delivering stacking strength for multi-tier pallet configurations. This rating ensures your 5-gallon pails remain protected through warehouse handling, cross-docking, and full-weight freight loads.
Can I order partial bundles or bulk quantities?
This product is sold in bundles of 10 units. For large-volume orders (50+ bundles), contact our B2B sales team for custom pricing and freight consolidation options that maximize cost savings.
