Common questions
How do multi-depth boxes reduce my total cost of ownership?
By consolidating three box sizes (2", 3", 4") into one SKU, you reduce inventory carrying costs, eliminate dead stock, and simplify reordering. Pre-scoring eliminates equipment investment in carton sizers. Right-sizing shipments also reduces dimensional weight charges on parcel carrier invoices.
What is ECT-32 and why does it matter for my stacking operations?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) rating of 32 means these boxes withstand 32 lbs of crushing force per linear inch. This single-wall strength supports reliable stacking in warehouse environments and maintains integrity during freight consolidation without compromising dimensional weight.
Can I adjust box height on the production line without stopping workflow?
Yes. Pre-scored fold lines at 2", 3", and 4" allow operators to quickly collapse boxes to the exact depth needed for each order without equipment. No carton sizer required, fold, tape, and ship in seconds.
Are these boxes suitable for heavy items or fragile products?
ECT-32 single-wall kraft provides adequate protection for light-to-medium weight items and general merchandise. For heavy items over 20 lbs or fragile goods requiring double-wall protection, consider upgrading to our ECT-44 or ECT-48 double-wall options.
