Common questions
How do multi-depth boxes reduce my shipping costs?
By adjusting box height from 4" to 12" with pre-scored folds, you right-size each shipment to your product, eliminating oversized dimensional weight charges from parcel carriers. This eliminates the need to stock 3 - 4 different box sizes, consolidating inventory and reducing per-unit costs.
What ECT rating means for my stacking and shipping performance?
ECT-32 (Edge Crush Test of 32 lbs/inch) provides reliable single-wall strength for stacking in trucks and warehouses without crushing. It's ideal for medium-weight products up to ~15 lbs per box and handles standard 3-tier pallet stacking in typical distribution environments.
Do I need special equipment or training to adjust the box height?
No. Multi-depth scoring is pre-cut at the factory. Your team simply folds to the desired height (4", 6", 8", or 12") and closes, no carton sizer, no training, no downtime. Operators can adjust in seconds based on product size.
Can these boxes handle pallet stacking and freight consolidation?
Yes. ECT-32 kraft corrugated is rated for standard warehouse stacking. The compact 8.5 x 8.5" footprint maximizes pallet density, reducing freight LTL costs. Pre-scored flexibility means you pack tighter and ship lighter while maintaining crush resistance and product protection.
