Common questions
Will these markers work on all packaging materials?
Yes, the alcohol-based ink bonds effectively to cardboard, kraft paper, plastic labels, and tape. The fine point ensures precise marking on small labels and tight spaces common in warehouse environments. We recommend testing on specialty coatings before high-volume use.
How long does the ink take to dry on shipping labels?
The quick-drying alcohol-based formula typically dries in 30-60 seconds on standard cardboard and paper, minimizing hold-up time in your packing workflow and reducing smudging risk during box handling and stacking.
Are these markers compliant with workplace safety standards?
Yes, Sharpie® Fine Point Markers are non-toxic and meet ASTM safety standards. They're safe for regular use in busy shipping rooms and warehouses without requiring additional ventilation or PPE beyond standard workplace practices.
Can I order other colors from the same product line?
Absolutely. This marker is available in six colors: Black, Blue, Green, Red, Orange, and Purple. Many customers create color-coded labeling systems for different product categories, departments, or shipping priorities, order multiple cases to build your complete marking system.
