Common questions
Will this tape stick to wet or damp cardboard surfaces?
Yes. Gorilla Waterproof Patch and Seal Tape is engineered to adhere in wet and dry conditions, making it ideal for high-humidity packing environments and moisture-exposed cases. However, for optimal adhesion on damp surfaces, wipe away excess water before application.
Is this tape compatible with standard tape dispensers?
Yes, the 4-inch width is compatible with most industrial tape dispensers used on packing lines. The reinforced vinyl backing feeds smoothly without tearing or bunching, ensuring consistent application speeds and minimal operator adjustment.
How long does the adhesive remain effective after application?
The extra-strong adhesive formula provides permanent bonding once fully cured (typically 24 hours). Waterproof backing resists moisture, UV, and temperature extremes, maintaining seal integrity for years in both indoor and outdoor conditions.
What's the adhesion strength on different core materials?
This tape bonds effectively to cardboard, plastic, metal, rubber, and vinyl surfaces commonly found in packing environments. The conforming adhesive layer ensures contact with irregular surfaces, delivering reliable adhesion across diverse box types and repair applications.
