Common questions
Will the end caps stay secure during shipment?
Yes. The included white end caps feature a positive snap-fit design engineered specifically to remain secure throughout transit, preventing contents from shifting or damage from occurring. No additional fasteners or tape required.
What's the difference between usable space and actual tube length?
The 6" measurement reflects usable interior space for your documents. The actual tube is slightly longer to accommodate the snap-fit end cap system. This ensures proper sealing and protection without wasting material.
Are these tubes suitable for heavy or fragile items?
The 3-ply spiral wound construction provides excellent protection for rolled documents, blueprints, posters, and artwork. For extremely heavy items, consider a larger diameter tube. Contact our packaging specialists to discuss your specific needs.
Can I purchase additional end caps if needed?
Yes. Replacement 1.5" white end caps are available separately (SKU: PMTCAP15-C820). Order additional caps to maintain inventory or replace worn caps on reused tubes.
