Common questions
Will the end caps stay secured during shipment?
Yes. The white end caps are engineered to snap firmly into the tube opening and will not pop off during standard parcel handling, USPS delivery, or UPS ground shipping. The secure fit ensures contents remain protected throughout the supply chain.
Can I reorder replacement end caps separately?
Yes. Additional 2.5" white end caps are available for purchase separately (SKU: PMTCAP25-C820). This allows you to extend the life of your tubes when caps wear out while keeping replacement costs minimal.
What is the difference between usable length and actual tube length?
Usable length (12") refers to the interior space available for contents. The actual tube is slightly longer to accommodate the end caps when inserted. This design ensures maximum content capacity without exposing the edges of your materials.
Are these tubes suitable for heavy or fragile items?
The 3-ply construction provides excellent protection for documents, blueprints, posters, and rolled items. For extremely heavy or fragile contents, consider testing with a sample case first to ensure the tubes meet your specific durability requirements under your typical shipping conditions.
