Common questions
Are the end caps included, and can I buy replacements?
Yes, white plastic end caps are included with each tube. Additional 3" end caps are available separately (SKU: PMTCAP3-C820) for replacement or bulk cap needs.
What documents are best suited for these 3x12 tubes?
These tubes are ideal for blueprints, architectural drawings, rolled posters, large format documents, certificates, maps, and any rolled materials up to 12" in length. The 3" diameter accommodates standard document rolls without excessive compression.
Do these tubes meet shipping carrier requirements?
Yes. The heavy-duty 3-ply spiral-wound construction and secure plastic end caps provide the structural integrity and sealing required by UPS, FedEx, and USPS shipping standards for cylindrical mailers.
Why choose black tubes over standard kraft?
Black tubes offer premium branding, improved visibility in mailrooms for sorting and categorization, and a more professional appearance, making them ideal for high-value documents and client-facing shipments where presentation matters.
