Common questions
Are these tubes compliant with USPS and UPS shipping regulations?
Yes. These 3" x 12" tubes meet standard carrier dimensional and weight requirements. The spiral wound construction provides adequate protection for first-class, priority, and parcel post mailings without additional padding.
Can I order replacement end caps separately?
Absolutely. Packrift offers additional 3" white plastic end caps (SKU: PMTCAP3-C820) sold separately for bulk orders or replacement needs. Caps are reusable across multiple shipments.
What is the maximum weight capacity per tube?
The 0.07" spiral wound construction safely handles 2-3 lbs of rolled documents per tube. For heavier contents, we recommend our reinforced 0.09" option to prevent crushing during stacking.
Why choose yellow tubes over standard kraft or white?
The bright yellow finish serves dual purposes: it instantly identifies document category or destination in high-volume mailrooms, reducing sorting errors and processing time, while the glossy surface enhances brand visibility and creates a more professional impression compared to plain kraft packaging.
