Common questions
Are these tubes safe for shipping important documents and blueprints?
Yes. The 3-ply spiral wound construction provides excellent crush resistance and protection during ground and air shipping. Plastic end caps create a secure seal that protects contents from moisture and debris while meeting standard shipping compliance requirements.
Can I use these tubes to organize and sort different project types?
Absolutely. The bright green color makes these tubes ideal for visual categorization systems. Many facilities use different colored tubes to designate departments, projects, or document types, significantly reducing sorting time and errors in busy mailrooms.
What if I need replacement end caps?
Replacement 3" white plastic end caps are available separately (SKU PMTCAP3-C820). We recommend keeping extra caps on hand for damaged caps or when reusing tubes for multiple shipments.
Are these tubes environmentally friendly?
Yes. The spiral wound fibreboard is fully recyclable and made from renewable materials. Both the tube and end caps can be separated and recycled according to your local waste management guidelines.
