Common questions
Will the end caps stay secure during shipping?
Yes. The white end caps snap firmly into place and are engineered not to pop off during transit, even with standard carrier handling. This design ensures contents remain protected throughout the shipping process without additional sealing required.
Can these tubes be reused?
Absolutely. The 3-ply spiral wound fibreboard construction is durable enough for multiple uses. Many customers reuse these tubes for internal document storage or resale, reducing long-term packaging costs and environmental impact.
What fits inside a 3" x 26" tube?
The 3-inch inside diameter accommodates rolled documents up to 26 inches long, including standard architectural blueprints (24" x 36" folded), posters, large format prints, and technical drawings. The 26-inch length is usable space; actual tube length is longer to account for the cap mechanism.
Are replacement end caps available?
Yes. Additional 3-inch white end caps (SKU: PMTCAP3-C820) are sold separately, allowing you to extend the life of your tubes or replace lost or damaged caps without repurchasing entire tube sets.
