Common questions
Will these tubes protect rolled documents during shipping?
Yes. The 0.125" thick spiral wound construction with 3-ply reinforcement provides rigid protection against crushing, bending, and impact damage during standard parcel delivery. Pre-installed caps seal both ends for complete protection.
Are these tubes compliant with USPS and UPS shipping regulations?
Yes. These heavy-duty capped tubes meet carrier requirements for cylindrical mailers and are approved for both USPS Priority Mail and UPS Ground shipping at standard dimensional rates.
What is the difference between the 30" usable length and actual length?
Usable length (30") refers to the interior space available for your content. Actual tube length is longer to accommodate the pre-fitted end caps and provide structural integrity during shipping.
Can I purchase additional caps separately?
Yes. Replacement 3" End Caps (SKU: PMTCAP3-C820) are available for purchase separately, allowing you to reuse tubes or replace damaged caps without replacing entire tubes.
