Common questions
What makes these tubes 'heavy-duty' compared to standard mailing tubes?
The 0.125" thick 3-ply spiral wound construction provides crush and bend resistance compared to single-wall tubes. This extra strength protects contents during automated mail sorting, stacking, and rough handling without increasing cost significantly.
Are the 24" dimensions usable space or actual tube length?
The 24" refers to usable interior space. Actual tube length is longer to accommodate the end caps and ensure secure sealing. This allows maximum document capacity while maintaining structural integrity at the ends.
Can I purchase additional end caps separately?
Yes. Replacement 4" end caps are available separately (SKU: PMTCAP4-C820) if you need to recap tubes or have replacements for damaged caps. This allows you to maximize tube reuse and reduce per-unit costs.
Are these tubes shipping-compliant and carrier-approved?
Yes. The kraft fibreboard construction meets standards for FedEx, UPS, and USPS parcel shipping. The rigid design and included caps ensure contents remain secure and protected throughout transit, reducing damage claims and replacement costs.
