Common questions
What's the difference between usable length and actual tube length?
Usable length (30") is the interior space available for your contents. Actual tube length is longer to allow proper end cap installation. The end caps fit into the tube opening, extending functionality without adding to your packing space.
Can these tubes be used for long-term storage?
Yes. The rigid spiral-wound construction and kraft material are ideal for archival document storage. The sealed end caps protect contents from dust and environmental exposure, making these tubes suitable for both short-term shipping and extended storage.
Are replacement end caps available?
Yes. Additional 4" end caps (SKU PMTCAP4-C820) are available separately, allowing you to reuse tubes or cap extra units as needed for your operations.
How many items can fit in a 4" x 30" tube?
Capacity depends on your contents. These tubes accommodate rolled documents, blueprints, posters, and similar items up to 30" in length with a 4" diameter opening. Tightly rolled materials maximize space efficiency.
