Common questions
What's the difference between usable length and actual tube length?
Usable length (60") refers to the space available for your items. Actual tube length is longer to allow for material overlap and end cap application, ensuring proper sealing and protection during shipping.
Can these tubes be used for shipping fragile items?
Yes. The 0.125" thick 3-ply spiral-wound construction provides excellent crush resistance and puncture protection, meeting shipping requirements for fragile documents, artwork, and delicate rolled goods.
Are end caps included, and what's their compatibility?
End caps are sold separately. These 5" diameter tubes require 5" end caps (SKU: PMTCAP5-C820). Capped tubes provide complete environmental protection and enhanced professional appearance.
How does bulk purchasing this case affect shipping costs?
Buying by the case (15 tubes) reduces per-unit costs and dimensional weight fees compared to smaller quantities, improving ROI for high-volume shippers and mailroom operations managing regular shipments.
