Common questions
What is the actual length of these tubes versus the listed 24-inch usable space?
The usable interior space is 24 inches. Actual tube length is longer to accommodate the wall thickness and allow proper item placement. Exact overall length accommodates standard items and mailer caps.
Are these tubes strong enough to ship heavy documents without additional cushioning?
Yes. The 0.125-inch thick 3-ply spiral wound construction provides rigid, crush-resistant protection for documents, blueprints, and posters. The structural integrity eliminates need for foam inserts or additional protective padding, reducing costs.
Do these tubes come with end caps?
End caps are sold separately. We offer compatible 6-inch diameter end caps (SKU: PMTCAP6-C820) to fully seal tubes for maximum protection and professional presentation.
What industries typically use 6x24 kraft jumbo tubes?
Architects, engineering firms, print shops, marketing agencies, legal document services, and any mailroom shipping rolled materials. The oversized diameter accommodates multiple rolled items or thicker materials in a single tube, improving shipping efficiency.
